My name is Dan Warner, and I’d like to welcome you to my site. I’ve been working on it for quite some time in hopes of helping other everyday cooks who love food. Although the focus of the site is with slow cooking or pressure cooking, I love using all other methods as well. I can grill up a mean steak on my barbecue, and I’m pretty handy with a convection oven as well. About the only thing I don’t use on a regular basis is a deep fryer. Ideas on before, but it’s just a bit too messy for me.
I started cooking at a young age, and I’m not sure where I got the inspiration. My mother didn’t cook all that often, and the only thing my dad did was barbecue. But I’ve always love food but I get bored quite easily with bland tastes. I don’t like eating the same thing which is why I’m always looking for new recipes. Although there are some things I always cook on a regular basis, I’m always adding new ingredients and trying different flavors as well.
In addition to cooking, I love eating out at restaurants because sometimes I have to admit they do a better job at certain dishes. I can work wonders with everyday kitchen tools, but I don’t have a professional kitchen at my disposal. So when I go to a restaurant I consider it a treat and I really enjoy the food, and it doesn’t matter how much I have to pay. I consider myself a food connoisseur and I appreciate the love and effort that goes into all cooking. I’m also a great guy to go eating with because I have a big appetite and I love to try everything. There’s a bit of adventure involved with eating, and trying new things is something I love. One of the greatest adventures I’ve ever taken was starting up this website in hopes of sharing my experience with specific products and more generally, my love for food.
